Roger Ward
Roger Ward is a strategy director with global commercial and strategy development expertise across multiple sectors.
He has rich experience of leading complex strategic programmes involving solving difficult business problems and supporting transactions in global environments.
Roger has had an interesting and varied career:-
He was a programme director at the World Gold Council (2011 – 2014) responsible for the development of programmes to help create and sustain the demand for gold in the global market – such as the development for kilo bar trading in Singapore.
Previous roles have included Senior Programme Manager roles with Deloitte and Bain & Company, leading corporate strategy programmes and commercial due diligence for M&A transactions and independent reviews for distressed businesses (2007 – 2011).
Roger also held a Product Development Manager role with a small travel company – now owned by Tui (2003 – 2005).
Roger was an Arthur Anderson scholar and holds an MA in History from Edinburgh University.
He is currently pursuing commercial opportunities in Asia – having recently fulfilled a long held ambition to travel the silk route.
